Do I need new impressions for the retainers after receiving dental bonding?

Greg D Updated by Greg D

Yes - you will need to perform new impressions or receive a new 3D Scan in order to facilitate this change in your teeth and retainers.

You will also need to provide us with as much detailed information about the dental bonding as possible.

You can book a treatment review here

The reason for this is because when you receive dental work and specifically dental bonding, this alters the structure of your teeth to a shape that will no longer match your 3D scan, the same 3D Scan that would eventually lead to your retainers.

It is for this reason that you will require a new 3D Scan, so that we can create your Retainers with your dental bonding work in mind.
