I have a black triangle between my teeth and gum!

Greg D Updated by Greg D

Don't worry, this is completely normal. We call this an Interdental Space and it is a genetic feature.

The Interdental Space or "black triangle" may become more visible after finishing your aligner treatment, but it will have always existed before treatment. Your Clear Aligners cannot create a black triangle.

So what can you do?

We recommend that you massage your gum in a circular motion 3 times per day to encourage your gum to grow into that gap and make it whole.

How did we do?

If I need a bridge on one set of my teeth, can I receive treatment on the opposite set?

What is the best way to clean my aligners?
